WSOP 2020: second gold bracelet for Lithuania

Gediminas Uselis 2020

Gediminas Uselis cannot be called a famous poker player, as most people in the community first heard about him just the day before yesterday. That’s because Gediminas won a WSOP gold bracelet and $211 000 in prize money.

Uselis has earned just $330 000 in live events throughout his entire poker career. He also won a WSOP Circuit ring a year ago. But his online results are much more impressive: the Lithuanian’s prize money in online poker has reached the mark of $2 000 000. Gediminas also added the gold bracelet that he won in the WSOP Event # 76 to his collection of poker trophies.

The 76th WSOP Online event with a $400 buy-in collected 4 461 entries. All those participants competed for the lion's share of a $1 667 336 prize pool, but only 548 players got in the money.

Gediminas Uselis started the final table having the third biggest stack among the finalists. He soon became the chip leader, taking big pots one after another.

As a result, Gediminas went down to the final heads-up and emerged victorious, winning the top prize and the gold bracelet. In the heads-up, he was opposed by Andrew Wilson from Great Britain, who received $159 000 for second place.
