Shaun Deeb won his 5th WSOP bracelet

​Successful American poker pro Shaun Deeb has lived up again his reputation as a professional tournament player. Some days ago, he won the fifth WSOP bracelet.

Deeb became the winner of WSOP 2021 Event #53: Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller with an impressive buy-in of $25 000 and managed to get one of the biggest payouts in his career, namely $1 251 860.

The tournament collected 212 entries and as a result, the prize pool reached the mark of $5 008 500.

The participant from Hong Kong Ka Kwan Lau became a runner-up. He earned $773 700 of prize money for the second place.

In total, 32 players managed to reach ITM zone. The minimum prize money was $40 960.

In the last hand, Shaun Deeb went all-in with A♣-7♦-6♥-5♠ on the river with such cards as 8♠-8♣-6♣-5♦-5♣. Ka Kwan Lau with A♥-K♦-K♣-8♦ decided to call. As a result, Deeb won his second bracelet in Omaha discipline and the fifth one in his poker career.

The champion also shared his plans to get ahead of Phil Hellmuth in the number of WSOP bracelets.
