Spanish player Juan Pardo won two EPT tournaments over 2 days
Yesterday, on 27 August, the Spanish player Juan Pardo won EPT Single-Day High Roller tournament with €25,000 buy-in and earned €491,600. Today, he won again and became the champion of EPT Single-Day High Roller tournament with an entry fee of €50,000, by adding €1,013,860 to his bankroll. This winning became the biggest one for poker player in his career.
"I was trying not to think about all the hype of winning yesterday. I just wanted to try and play my best game, just like I do in all the tournaments that I play."
The total amount of Juan’s prize in offline tournaments exceeds $2.4 million.
In a heads-up, Pardo fought against American poker player Seth Davies. Davies earned €720,760 and this sum became the record one for Davis.
The player from Malaysia Chin Wei Lim took the 3rd place and earned €471,910. At the same time, Lim took second place in yesterday's Single-Day High Roller tournament for €25,000 and won €146,940.
