Stars will no longer host the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure
The most popular poker room has decided to stop holding the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. PokerStars Marketing Director Eric Hellraiser said that this championship had lost its momentum after 15 years of carrying. The hosting venue of the festival was the thing to be often criticized by players.

PokerStars blogger Brad Willis noted that the PCA 2019 final had been one of the best in the history of the series. This year, the first tournament of the PokerStars Players Championship 2019 took place in the Caribbean. The buy-in of the event was equal to $25 000. It collected 1 039 entries.
For the first time, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure was held in 2004. That time 221 players took part in the Main Event of the festival. The event winner became legendary poker professional Gus Hansen, who won $455 780 in prize money.
Despite the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure popularity, the poker room has taken the decision to stop holding the series. Stars decided to focus on the PokerStars Players Championship. In 2020, this event will be carried out in Barcelona.
