State of Connecticut legalized online poker
More and more American states legalize online poker at the legislative level. Some days ago, another state joined this positive trend.
Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont has signed a bill according to which the two casinos owned by the local tribes Mohegan and Mashantucket Pequot will be able to provide online gambling services for the entire population of the state.
The tribal casinos will be able to provide online gambling services, namely sports betting, casino and poker across the state. However, the federal government should approve the amendments to this law and online gambling will be able to become fully operational in Connecticut in the coming months.

According to the words of Ned Lamont, Connecticut is now on the threshold of providing a modern, technologically advanced gaming experience that will compete with the neighboring states and ensure success in future.
It is no longer surprising to hear such rhetoric from the officials, as was previously the case. More and more government officials in the United States realize the benefits of legalizing online gambling. The most attractive side for them is the tax revenues from the gambling industry, which replenish local budgets very well.
