Super Million$: Spanish player turns $525 into $420 000

Super Million$

The first player to leave the Super Million$ final table was Dmitry Yurasov. The guy made a set of tens, but Andersson hit a straight, eliminating Yurasov in 9th place.

Andersson himself lingered in the tournament not much longer than Yurasov. The Swede busted out in sixth place, taking a payout of $115 000.

Heads-up Confrontation

Heads-up

This is how Addamo’s and Carbo’s stacks looked like before the heads-up started: 18 million versus two and a half. Adamo was the favourite in all respects: he had experience and a really massive stack. Besides, in this particular final, he was very fortunate at all-ins spots.

Nevertheless, Gerard Carbo pulled himself together, changed the tide of the game and eventually emerged victorious. In the last hand of the event, Addamo’s pocket J-8 lost to 4-8 of Gerard, as the turn brought 4.

It’s also worth noting that the Spaniard qualified for the tournament via a satellite, and thus turned $525 into a cool $420 000.
