The champion of Aussie Millions 2020 Main Event was determined

Main Event at Aussie Millions 2020 in Australia with $10 600 buy-in finished. The tournament collected 820 entries and its prize pool reached the mark of $8 690 000. 88 players entered the prize zone and the minimum payout was $15 580.  

The poker player from Australia Vincent Wan became the winner and got $907 190 for the first place. This victory became the largest one in his entire poker career. Before this event, his biggest payout was $125 000 which he got for the victory in the tournament for $1 000 at Aussie Millions 2008.

The Vietnamese poker player Ngoc Hoang became the runner-up of the tournament. As a result of a deal, he earned the same amount as Van – $907 190.  

Erik Seidel, who is a member of the Poker Hall of Fame, took the fifth place and enriched with $260 630.

When three poker players left at the final table, they started to split the pot.

The player from New Zealand Gareth Pepper wasn’t able to keep his stack when Van called with A-3o against Pepper’s 9-2. Vincent hit a pair of aces and left Gareth in the third place.

Heads-up lasted three and a half hours, until Hoang went all-in with A-3o and Wan called with 10-9o.

On the river, Vincent hit the second pair, while Hoang hit a flash draw. As a result, Wan became the champion.
