The champion of PokerStars High Rollers Main Event was determined

Artem "veeea" Vezhenkov

As part of PokerStars High Rollers series, 27 high stakes tournaments were played.  In total, they collected 7 322 entries and $13 407 100 of prize money.

The player under the nickname "Pimmss" from the Netherlands is the only one who managed to get two titles. The Dutch grinder became the winner of High Rollers 02: $1050 NLHE 8-Max PKO tournament and earned $113 900. Then he won in High Rollers 12: $530 NLHE 8-Max and got $36 300.  

The biggest winning of PokerStars high roller series was given to the Russian player Artem "veeea" Vezhenkov. He became the champion of High Rollers 23: $5 200 NLHE 8-Max Main Event and earned $457 344.

The event collected 515 entries and its prize pool reached the mark of $2 575 000.  The prize pool was shared between 63 best players of the series.

In a heads-up, Artem outplayed one of the best MTT players Simon "C Darwin2" Mattsson. The Finnish pro Samuel “€urop€an” Woodson also played in the finale.

2 re-entries were available in the tournament. Vezhenkov used one of them, because he busted out of the tournament almost at the beginning of the event – in 492nd place. And it wasn’t in vain.

Artem "veeea" Vezhenkov is not a newcomer to the winner's circle, as he won Sunday Million three times in his impressive career. Artem is a pretty successful regular player and one of the top MTT professionals in the world. In total, he has more than 300 first places in various online tournaments and over $9 350 000 won in online MTT. The winning of $457 300 which he got for the 1st place at PokerStars High Rollers Main Event became the biggest victory for the player.
