Third WCOOP Title for Adam "adamyid" Owen in Omaha Event
The WCOOP 2024 series on PokerStars is coming to an end, and players still have some time to add prestigious titles to their collections. One of these winners was the British Adam "adamyid" Owen, who has recently been living in Mexico and even plays under its flag.
He won this victory in a relatively inexpensive event for $22 in a rather rare discipline – five-card pot-limit Omaha. Adam managed to beat a large field of 1,569 participants and the payout for first place was $4,773. And in 20th place the nickname of Parker Talbot, known as tonkaaaa, can be seen.
This is the third WCOOP title for the Briton. He was able to get the previous two in the $22 NLHE and $109 Stud Hi/Lo events. It's proof that he feels confident in all available formats and variations of poker.
In addition to online, Owen can often be seen at offline tables. Earlier this year, he almost managed to win the prestigious WSOP bracelet. However, the result was a second place (but a huge prize of $694,714). Then, as a result of a tense heads-up, the Frenchman Clement Richez emerged victorious.
