Timothy Adams wins the $10 300 Super Million$ at GGPoker
Timothy Adams has secured another victory in his poker career: he took down the $10 300 Super Million$ at GG Poker. For the first place, the Canadian poker player received a massive payout after he defeated Jans Arends in the final heads-up.
It’s worth noting poker professional Dario Sammartino, who became a bubble boy of the event as he busted out in 10th place, having failed to reach the final table. The guy was given a "consolidation" prize of $47 650.
There were three Russian players at the final table: Anatoly Filatov, Artur Martirosyan, and "MAMONT_T". Anatoly Filatov's hunting for victory ended almost at the very beginning of the final table. His result was 9th place and $59 000 in prize money.
Artur Martirosyan finished his participation in the tournament in fourth place, which brought him $168 000 in prize money. Having left the final table, Martirosyan commented on his play as follows:
«Overall, I played the final table well and made almost no mistakes. At the end of the game, things did not work out, and it has become a pattern lately. I caught a downstreak everywhere, but now I’m actually beginning to recover».
In the last hand of the event, Jans Arends moved all-in with A-Q and was called by Timothy Adams who had pocket queens. No ace appeared on the board so that Timothy Adams became the tournament champion. The runner-up took $255 500, while Adams received $315 000.
