The poker community is actively enlarged with couples in which both partners play poker. The other day, the poker world learned of Kate Hoang and Julien Martini’s wedding happened a year after their heads-up at the WSOP 2018.
In the final heads-up Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, French poker player won his first gold bracelet and $240 000 in prize money, thereby “ridding” his future wife of $90 000 and the cherished trophy. Martini told reporters about this yet at the beginning of 2019:
«We just cross each other the same day after the tournament, started talking, asking about plans for the evening. Then decided to go to karaoke together. And it was a trap».
