World Poker Tour returns to Venetian
After a long absence, Live Main Tour World Poker Tour will return to Las Vegas with $5 000 buy-in and $1 500 000 guarantee for WPT Venetian Main Event, which will be held from 5 to 9 March. For WPT, the live series is very important in terms of offline.
WPT hasn’t held Main Event in Las Vegas since the 2019 WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic. By the way, the tournament set a record for the biggest prize fund of tournaments with $10 000 buy-in. Shortly thereafter, the live events were almost ceased due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Сonsequently, most of the WPT live events and final tables were postponed or canceled, including a 2020 stop at the Venetian.
Main Event includes everything from the classic WPT tournament. The triumpher of WPT Venetian will get a six-figure prize fund and ticket to 2021 WPT Tournament of Champions. The champion’s name will be engraved on the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup.
It is worth noting that both flight days have unlimited re-entry and late registration until the start of level 9.

Given the fact that pandemic continues, WPT and Venetian will pay close attention to the safety of players. According to World Poker Tour, the Venetian operates under its own program called “Venetian Clean Commitment'” (it includes over 800 initiatives to improve safety).
Sanitizing is very important thing, so the players should sanitize their hands and wear the masks. Staff will maintain cleanliness of dividers, cards, chips, etc.

Resumption of work of the World Poker Tour in Las Vegas may mean that the company is heading towards the end of suspended final tables of tournaments.
