WSOP Champion Daniel Weinman Secures 2nd Place in a Circuit Series Tournament

WSOP Main Event champion Daniel Weinman

The name of Daniel Weinman thundered throughout the world in the summer of 2023, when he won the main tournament of the year and became the champion of the largest WSOP Main Event in history. After this, nothing was heard about him for some time. It is known that after receiving a record $12,100,000 in winnings, he took a short break from poker and returned to his home in Atlanta. But finally the vacation was over and Daniel took part in the $1,700 WSOPC Harrah's Cherokee Main Event. After going through a field of 1,470 entries, Weinman managed to reach the final table, where he stopped one step away from winning the honorary trophy – the Circuit ring.

In heads-up, he was beaten by Joseph Crowley, who became the winner of the event, taking home the top prize of $348,785 (+ a precious ring). Weinman had to settle for second place and a payout of $215,576. Among other results, it is worth noting the seventh place of the famous ring hunter Maurice Hawkins (+$57,070). He currently has 15 Circuit trophies to his credit and is pushing hard to win his sixteenth title.
