Mates, it's time for Week 4 of the Cardmates Quest!
Each week, Cardmates.co.uk users can earn great rewards by completing a new set of simple missions around the site. Every Thursday, we'll publish fresh tasks in a dedicated blog post, giving you a full week to complete them. Winners can claim prizes worth $15 to $50.
Some missions also award extra Aura points, helping you climb the ranks and unlock new statuses. And remember – once enough players reach Expert status, we'll launch an exclusive $250 GTD GGPoker freeroll just for Experts 🔥
The qualifying period for Week 4 runs from 23 July to 29 July (inclusive). Complete all three missions below during this period to be in with a chance of winning one of the prizes ⬇️
Mission #1. Find the Secret Code.
This one's all about keeping your eyes peeled:
- Head over to this page: https://cardmates.co.uk/slot-sites
- Search through the page and find the secret code hidden in the text
- Send the code to our moderator via private message on Cardmates.co.uk: d19932808
The secret code looks like a random mix of letters and numbers, so you're unlikely to miss it 😉
Don't worry if you accidentally send the wrong code to the moderator – they'll let you know whether you've got it right or not. If it's not the correct one, simply head back to the page and keep searching.
Mission #2. Leave honest feedback on our casino review pages.
You need to write a total of three reviews – one for each of the following casinos:
The "Write a review" button can be found at the bottom of each review page. If you've already completed this mission before the contest started, your reviews will also be taken into account.
Mates, we understand that some of these casinos may be unfamiliar to you. Before leaving a review, please take a look at each brand's website and interface so that your feedback is as fair and informed as possible.
Mission #3. Publish at least one blog post.
The rules are simple, and by now you all know them well:
- Your post must be about poker, casino games or sports.
- Do not use AI to generate content.
- The post must be original and not copied from other sources.
Once you've completed all three missions, leave a comment under this post saying: "Missions completed". This is important, so please don't forget this step.
Next Thursday (30 July), we'll randomly select ten winners from everyone who completes all three missions 🎁
- 1st place – $50
- 2nd place – $25
- 3rd place – $20
- 4th–10th – $15 each
As usual, prizes can be paid via PayPal, Skrill, CoinPoker or ACR Poker.
We'll announce the winners of this quest and publish the next set of missions in separate blog posts next Thursday.

Good Morning Cardmates
I know different players will have different answers if this question if directed to them and now I'm directing the question to you cardmates.
Which Position do you think is the most important when playing poker ?
Some of you might say the Button (Dealer Position) is the most powerful seat at the table.
Others will argue that the Big Blind is where the real money is won.
Everyone obviosly have different opinions based on how they've played so far. But from my experience, the "Dealer Position" is the best and profitable position in poker.
If you're good at playing this position chances of losing is very low. You get to act last after the flop which means you have more information than everyone else.
You see how your opponents react before making own decision. That extra information is worth a lot in poker.
The Big blind is abviously important also. Why I don't like this position is that you're always forced to put money in the pot and here you tend to make mistakes more often.
The Dealer Position will always be my favourite position when playing.
What's yours ?
Most of the times when we talk about improving at poker the conversation usually revolves around bluffing, bankroll management, or reading opponents.
There is one thing players don't usually talk about and this is Time Management.
I'm not just talking about the amount of time you spend playing. I'm talking about how you use your time both during a hand and throughout an entire session.
One mistake players normally make is treating every decision the same way, I make that mistake also.
Just like to snap-call in a huge pot then spend 30sec to decide whether to fold a hand you were never going to play.
I've watched vudeos of Professional players and I see that they don't play that way. They make decisions quickly saving their mental energy for hands they are interested in.
When they're facing a difficult river bet or a big all-in, that's when they slow down, think through every posibility before making their decision.
Time management also means knowing when to walk away.
I've played sessions where the game isn’t going well for me. I lost a few hands and started getting frustrated and instead of taking a break I went ahead to reguster for another tournament hoping to make my losses back.
Well you know the answer....
It didn't end well.
At the end of the day poker is a game of decisions and good decisions require focus.
The better you manage your time, the longer you can stay mentaly sharp.
That's why I believe Time Management is very important.
Spain are officially the 2026 FIFA World Cup Champions after a grueling, high-stakes 1-0 extra-time victory over Argentina yesterday at MetLife Stadium.
It was an absolute thriller that went right down to the wire. Argentina went down to 10 men late in regulation after Enzo Fernández saw red, but they dug in defensively to push the game into extra time. The breakthrough finally came in the 106th minute when substitute Ferran Torres pounced on a loose ball in the box and smashed it into the back of the net to seal Spain's second-ever World Cup title!
To top off the historic night, midfield maestro Rodri took home the tournament's Golden Ball as the best player, while Unai Simón claimed the Golden Glove. Absolute football royalty
But I think my favourite part is the fact that Messi didn't win it, yes I had a schadenfreude 😂

Thank You Cardmates
