The Canadian poker player Sam Greenwood was born on 11 October, 1988. During his entire poker career, he achieved a considerable success. Probably, you will be surprised, but poker is not the main activity for Greenwood! His main job is stock trading.

Greenwood is considered one of the strongest poker players for several years. He has been playing in the live poker tournaments since 2008 and has more than $20 000 000 of prize money. In 2015, the Canadian player got his first bracelet at World Series of Poker. The victory at WSOP brought him $320 000. The following year, Greenwood became a runner-up of EPT Super High Roller Tournament in Barcelona with €50 000 entry fee and earned more than €1 000 000. It was his first, but not the last seven-digit winning. Now, Sam has 9 seven-digit winnings.

In online poker, Greenwood is best known under the nicknames “Str8 $$$ Homey” at PokerStars, “IfHeDiesHeDies” at Full Tilt Poker and “DeanMalenko” at PartyPoker. The amount of his online winnings exceeds $63,8 million.

He won half of that money in the tournaments at PokerStars. In 2009, the Canadian player became the winner of WCOOP, and in 2018 he added another trophy of the series to his arsenal. Greenwood is also two-time champion of Spring Championship of Online Poker (in 2013 and 2015).
