 How the case came together

Some of you cracked it instantly. Rocket_Pockets spotted the letters hidden in the sticky notes: G + H + O + S + T = 👻

Others followed the clues step by step:

🔎 The Timeline: the $100 vanished between 21:15 and 21:25.

🔎 The Wrong Place: the thief wasn't reading News or a poker article, so Felix and Harry were cleared.

♠️ No Poker: Jack was off the list.

🤫 The Silent Visitor: the thief was on Cardmates but didn't post, comment or message, which cleared Oliver and Riley.

🚨 The Alibi: Danny was inactive from 21:02 to 22:04, so he was offline during the theft.

📱 The Final Trace: the culprit used a mobile device during the theft window, while everyone else was on desktop. Ethan claimed he was offline, but the evidence said otherwise. 

 👻 BUT WHY DID THE GHOST DO IT? 

 Under interrogation, Ethan finally confessed. He didn't need the money. He wanted to prove he could take the prize, leave no trace and vanish without anyone noticing. For Ethan, it was all about pulling off the perfect Cardmates heist.

He almost did 👀 If it weren't for six very inconvenient clues.
