So the first bubble is 240 I'm sat hanging on, full ICM shutdown, make the bubble then launch is the plan. I have about 1.7bb. Bubble bursts, I fold a few rounds expecting the post bubble carnage, nothing,  Get garbage for an orbit almost, in the BB 86 suited, the math is simple, I'm blinded in by the small blind next hand it's go time. I shove, for once I want the 5 way carnage give me 18% and boy do I get, it the piranhas smell blood in the water and swarm, but this is no ordinary small fish 86 suited it turns out is the corydoras of cards.

Originating in shallow tributaries, rivers and streams from the amazon to china this small armoured catfish has a wee trick up its sleeve, spines on the fins, you try to swallow this sucker they pop out wedges itself in big fish throat, soul taken. So the carnage begins, I've minimized the screen, I'll wait for the unfamiliar winning hand ring or the pop up saying game over. Then there it is, my screen pops back up, 4 fish plus antes most covered me, I was back in the game, in solid wait for a blocker or pair then shove territory and I did!

So from around 219th I start nibbling, each pay bubble looms and somehow, somewhere, along the way I find a spot maybe to apply pressure and sneak blinds, or land on a real monster for that stage with bubbles and short stacks everywhere eager to call your ship. So I double up, once, twice, now I'm actually in no pressure territory. I get a chance to breathe, pay bubble 2 180th, pay bubble 3 144th pay bubble 4 120th gone. I sip my tea and get back to the screen, I'm not catching a myriad of hands but I'm catching just enough hand in the right position to execute squeezes and take the blinds, et the odd double up, pay bubble 5 72nd place made it but down to 3BB, manage to fold KJ off and avoid 3 way carnage and death against KK AQ. Somehow the bits keep drip feeding and am back at 12bb.

Levels are 5 minutes so everyone is getting halved pretty regular, back to shutdown mode, bubble 6 60th place, we're good, bubble 7 47th place, in, need to start playing again, 1.4bb 34th place bubble in 4 more souls, I'm BB next hand and the antes will have me blinded in, so wait and hope for better or limp UTG hoping you get folds, knowing the chip lead and bully is one hundred percent looking me up but more than likely shoving. Risk I'm aware of, but for 8 hands sat on a dominant stack they just been 2.5x raising, seeing if anyone has owt if not free blinds, so with that frequency they are at the any 2 hand bully stage.

It actually clean folds around, tbh they all knew it was coming too and clearly didn't have enough hand to call his impending 2.5 x raise. Anyhow he shoves to isolate the BB and get me heads up, I think he erred and left money from the bb on the table as it turns out he didn't need to isolate me 🤣

34th out of over 1300. top 3 percentile, not too shabby!
