About the age of things

So i play online poker ovs but most of my freinds play aswell in same or similar ways as myself. Question is i wen to my freinds house the other day he is same age as me 33. Now he has a son age of 11 correct me if im wrong but i think that playing poker around kids is fine but he went to the kitchen made a few drinks for us all and let his son play on his poker account. Im not a spoil sport but he was in 2 tourniments and 1 cash game on 888 low end pko 8.80 and 5.50 the cash game was 25c 50c but the kid played and went all in on one of the tourniments 🤣and lost. So my friend went out but i thought to myself i would never let my kid play sod that he had 60 ish on the cash game imagine he went all in on that lol wouldent be the same story then would it 😭 

What are your thoughts on this and should poker sites have more to stop this sort of thing happening.And do you let ur kid do the same if u do dont post ur user name 😅
