An Inspirational person and Poker Pro!

                    Lukas “RobinPoker” Robinson

I would regularly visit the PokerNews discord for the freeroll passwords and would see RobinPoker is Live but thought nothing of it. Then one day I clicked on it and transferred to his Twitch channel .

At this point I didn’t remotely know who he was or anything about him.

Then to my surprise he was a young man with a Liverpool accent who was  live streaming playing poker.

Straight away I felt right at home being from Liverpool myself and he has good taste in the music he plays in the background.

Now I was new to the twitch streaming community then, but started chatting to Lukas about various topics and meeting other great people who get involved with the community.

He lives in Malta now, but travels to Liverpool regularly to watch Liverpool FC with his dad Peter who is also a Poker player. It runs in the family!

I quickly learned that Lukas was an outstanding Professional Poker Player and person who loves to share in his dedication and knowledge about the game.

For months we sat and talked about every topic and shared in good days and bad regardless he was always there for his community in a helpful and supportive way.

He launched himself onto the Poker scene in 2021 when he streamed for 1000 hours in 100days which was quite a feat!

He has made countless final tables and won quite a few tournaments both live and online.

When I first met him he was affiliated with 888poker, WPTGlobal and GGPoker I think.

Now, Lukas has become a CoinPoker ambassador and is travelling to tournaments around the world.

He has built a large social following and is continuing to grow as a professional poker player.

I hope to meet him in person sometime soon as I feel I got to know him and share in his journey.

He has definitely been the most inspiring, knowledgeable, supportive and just an all round nice guy who has been the biggest influence in my poker journey so far

I am not going to do a new cartoon blog for this piece, but from a past blog when I bought a stake in one of his tournaments on an early Sunday Grind!

Good times!♥️♠️♦️♣️
