Bad Run or Bad Decisions? Taking a Step Back This Week ♠️

This week hasn’t gone the way I expected.

Tournament after tournament… cash games included… and the results just haven’t been there. Losses stacking up, momentum going the wrong direction, and honestly, it starts to get in your head.

So I had to pause and ask myself:

Are these just bad days… or is there something deeper going on?

Poker is a game of skill, no doubt. But it’s also a game of variance. Some days, things go your way. Other days, no matter how well you play, the results just don’t follow.

And this week? It feels like one of those stretches.

But here’s the thing, I’m not going to chase losses.

That’s where things get dangerous.

Instead, I’m making a decision, No more cash games for the rest of this week. Not out of frustration, but out of discipline.

Cash games can be brutal when you’re not running well. The swings are immediate, and if you’re not fully locked in mentally, it’s easy to compound losses trying to recover quickly.

So I’m switching it up.

For the remaining days of this week, I’ll be focusing only on Freeroll tournaments.

This isn’t quitting, it’s adjusting.

Sometimes the smartest move in poker isn’t playing more…

It’s playing smarter.
