Anone else think the Assists sensation in football is getting out of order. In the old days an assist was a fasf or tricky winger fmgettjng to the byline and crossing for the centre forward  or a skillful midfider beating a couole of players and playing a perfect through ball. Boring Bruno had 11 of his 20 assists from coners and free kicks. Not to mention his petulant attitude throwing arms up if someone misses a chance or barely touches him total diva - an old school midfielder souness , keane macay etc would put him in his place
