Hi , My Name is Ned but i play by the moniker Noodeloo.
I have been playing poker on and off for about 20 years. I mostly play online but I've had an amazing experience playing live when i sattied into an 888 event a few years back. Has anyone else ever sattied from an online to a live tourney? I mostly play recreationally and low stakes online but occasionally satty into higher buy ins like $109s etc. I find game selection and bankroll management are the 2 most underated skills in poker and would like to improve at those because that what i know seperates the pros from the amateurs. I play mostly on 888/GG/Coin but also AcR for some home games.
Id like to hear about what sites people favour and where people get the most value from their poker?
I play mostly tourneys but can see that theres more consistent value from cash games that i dabble in.

Twas 888 Live portsmouth a few years back , not much to mention other than i came about 10 spots away from min cashing . My last hand i shoved Ako for my last 10 bigs got called by Jacks in the big blind and didnt improve. One hand of mention i also remember was I limped a KQo Utg and flopped top 2 on KQ3 . i remember bet calling the flop when opponent 3 bet the flop. I cant remember exactly but i think i check raised the turn and he 3 bet jammed the turn..... and i was in a pickle . I put him on J10d that would have been drawing half the deck after turning a flush draw, or pocket 3s the only 2 hands i could see play the flop this way. Anyways, i ended up hero folding and he showed pocket 3s for the flopped set . I felt vindicated because almost every other player at the table was like "how can you fold?" .
10 spots away from min cashing sounds like a heartbreak, but the way you ended that hand feels professional. best of luck at the tables 💸
