Cardmates Party Poker Freeroll Results (2026-01-30)
Thanks for the game
I wrote this out multiple times. The first time it was very detailed. The second time a little less detailed. I somehow managed to delete it both times. Here is the third attempt, hahaha. Before I give a brief rundown of the game I would like to thank Cardmates for providing the game and Party Poker for hosting it. I joined Cardsmate today and this was my first game with everyone. Early on in the tournament I got some KO's so had plenty of chips to work with. I only continue to build my stack from there.
The Bad Beat
Once we make it to the final table there are multiple short stacks and I try to put pressure on them. I end up doubling one of them (Twice). On the third attempt I KO the short stack and get my lost chips back. Once the bubble breaks it didn't take long to get heads up. The heads up match seen MANUELF.A and RentMoney (me) even in chips. There is some back and forth but eventually I pull the lead by about 600K.
Key Hand:
I'm dealt K9H and call a preflop raise. The flop comes 5H 6D JH. I have the nut flush draw and before my opponent even bets I decide I'm raising all in. They do bet/ I do raise all in/ they call/ I don't hit. I now have 600K and pick up KK and add an additional 200K to my stack. There is allot of timed aggression going on as is expected in headsup play. I now pick up A3. My opponent raises to 120K preflop. Blinds are 20/40K. I jam all in and get called. The tournament is all but over as my opponent has AQ. Unfortunately for MANUELF.A the board runs me (Rentmoney) out a flush. I now have 1.6 million in chips to my opponents 2.1 million chips. Sorry for the bad beat MANUELF.A. You played a great game.
The Final Hand
Leading up to the final hand I recover the cheap lead. I have over 2.3 million chips to my opponents 1.4 million and am dealt A5c. I limp and get raised to 120K (Blinds are 20/40K). I call and the flop comes 10d Qs Qc. Opponent min bets/ with an ace high on a paired board with these table dynamics; that's an easy call. Turn comes 6c and I now have the nut flush draw with one over card. My opponent bets 165K into a 330K pot. It's decision time for me. I have to decide if my opponent hit a full house or not. I'm not just making this call to fold if I hit. I have to decide now if my opponent has a full house. I decide that they don't and make the call. The river comes Jc and I make the nut flush. My opponent is first to act and they put out a 495K bet. A bet that had me thinking they just might got that boat. I made the decision on the turn and stick to it and jam. They call and turn over Qh 4c and the final pot is pushed to me.
