1. General statements

1.1 Before publishing any content on the site, the user must familiarise themselves with these rules.

1.2 Only registered users are eligible to create and run blogs on Cardmates, as well as leave comments under them.

1.3 Ignorance of the rules does not exempt one from responsibility for their violations.

1.4 These rules may be amended or supplemented by the Administration at any time.

1.5 The user has the right to appeal against the penalty if they believe it is unfair or incorrect. In the case of a permanent ban, address the Administration by contacting our community manager: https://cardmates.co.uk/profile/d19932808

1.6 All content published on Cardmates.co.uk must be in English.

1.7 Some of the rules listed on this page also apply to posts and comments in other sections of the site, as well as to content on our official social media accounts.

1.8 In case of violation, all penalties for breaches will be imposed at the Administration’s discretion.

Important stuff! People involved in gambling often try to bend or bypass rules. To prevent this page from becoming an endless list of clauses and sub-clauses, the Administration reserves the right to issue penalties even in cases not covered by these rules.

2. Requirements for publishing posts and comments on the site

2.1 Blog posts and comments must not be offensive or contain obscene language.

2.2 It’s prohibited to advertise third-party resources, funds, channels or social media pages in blogs, comments and private messages.

2.3 It’s prohibited to add any links to blog posts and comments, except for those leading to any page on Cardmates.co.uk.

2.4 Users are not allowed to create posts or leave comments asking others to help boost their Aura or “abuse the system” in any other way.

2.5 Blog posts containing a large number of spelling mistakes will be either edited or deleted by the Administration, with further penalties imposed.

2.6 Users must not abuse topics that are not related to poker, casino, sports betting or other gambling areas.

2.7 Flooding with nonsensical posts or spam made to boost the Aura level is strictly prohibited.

2.8 Users are prohibited from abusing Caps Lock and adding a large number of consecutive vertical images.

2.9 Please try to write correctly: avoid double spacing between words and remember to use paragraphs. Attach images, photos, or videos to make your posts more vivid and engaging for other users.

2.10 It’s prohibited to ask for money to finance your gambling in comments or private messages.

2.11 Creating blog posts and publishing comments that violate the current UK legislation is prohibited.

2.12 Using AI to create blog texts is strictly prohibited. However, this rule does not apply to images.

2.13 Content posted in the blogs must be unique and original.

2.14 The Administration reserves the right to close and delete any posts in the “Blogs” section.

A separate appendix to the rules for Cardmates private freerolls. The Administration reserves the right to impose penalties for common violations directly related to tournament play (teamplay, chip dumping, ghosting, and others). This especially applies to insulting other participants in the tournament chat.

3. Rules of conduct on our website

3.1 It’s strictly prohibited to insult users, both directly and indirectly, as well as to provoke any conflict.

3.2 Using hostile/offensive symbols as an avatar is forbidden.

3.3 Rudeness, insults, and slandering the Administration or other website users are abolished.

3.4 Sharing someone’s personal information without their permission is not allowed.

3.5 Publishing deliberately false information to mislead other users is forbidden.

3.6 Excessive toxicness and negativity in blogs/comments, aggressive behaviour, forcing communication, harassment, and threats – all will be penalised.

3.7 Any propaganda and agitation that breaks social, racial, national, political, gender, or religious feuds is prohibited.

3.8 Users are restricted from creating more than one account on Cardmates.co.uk. Breaching this rule will result in a permanent ban on all related accounts. Arguments such as “it’s my wife, brother, friend, etc.” will not be accepted as grounds for account recovery, except in very rare cases.
