Don't Let One Bad Beat Change Your Game

Every poker player takes bad beats. The mistake isn't losing the hand, It's letting that loss affect the next few decisions.

After a tough beat, it's tempting to chase chips with weaker hands or force big bluffs to recover quickly. More often than not, that only leads to bigger losses.

Instead, treat every hand as a fresh decision. Ask yourself if you'd make the same play if the previous hand had never happened. If the answer is no, emotions are probably influencing your game.

The best players don't avoid bad beats, they recover from them faster. Staying calm and sticking to your strategy will always outperform chasing losses.
