How do the fish run so deep?
An open question regards "luck" in 888Poker.
As you will see from the snippets below, we are beyond late registration now I joined before the add-on/end of late reg (40 mins, tourney is now 1hour and still at 91% and table lead) and have watched this fish all in hand after hand toppling connected aces/royals, pocket pairs and allsorts with any 2 cards obviously occasionally actually having two, but not 92% of the time, usual chip lead stuff too, ships with nothing made on the turn to a made hand makes a gutshot, flush etc.
So variance is one thing 92% ship rate over 39 hands table chip lead (you will note everyone else is playing tight too so always up against something).

Here's the update, probably last before I get blinded out, meanwhile I am around 8% vpip as in 33 hands not had a single suited set of connectors of any worth, decent two suited cards or any sign of a pair.
In fact as I typed, my flush got beat by a river full house and shockingly when I am forced to call (1400 left ante 150 BB 1600, BB next hand) everyone suddenly has a hand. I might sound like a broken record but it's not me giving the same donks card after card on draws. I play draws I bust out in two hands. Play any two cards for over an hour, you make final table, in the money, just does not make sense over and over the 75% VPIP donkeys are in the money on 888Poker.
So, 52 out of 60 hands deemed playable, 14 ~1 in 4 of these raised/shoved, I was single figures, here's what I was dealt, what would you have played if any? Bear in mind that pretty much every hand somebody had shoved pre flop so this is a my tournament life is on the line call. Otherwise I'd have limped with a few of the K2s Q2s 10 9S hands hoping to make a flush with 3 cards rather than the usual 4/5 that come when I do get a flush and the ace rag caller happens to hit it.
I literally made chips on 2 hands out of over 30, I got a hand that held first hand. I finally got the fish semi isolated with his 6 5s against my 8 5s he hit the flop two pair so I had hit the 5 he shipped matey dipped and I called, hit the 8 on the river in true 888poker fashion, better hand run but was a bad call being rewarded. So do I just run a 20% RnG for every hand I deem non-playable in the position i.e. all-in/bully chip lead raising every hand so never know if walking into 2,3 or AA it will make me more active at least but then I'm just playing lottery style too?
Genuinely if anyone has any solid advice on this type of play I'd love to hear it, as you'll see below, wait for a good hand is not really an option when you are sat watching the other tight players play pocket 9's and above. Saw the one dude double up twice off McFish with pocket 9's first then pocket A's 4 hands later. I did not see a pocket pair in 30+ hands, this is common enough for me in tourneys on 888Poker.

I'm running like a frozen river mate and when I get a hand the whole table that has been folding away to the bullyfish suddenly has a hand too. You've seen the rags I'm given, If I have to further limit myself to good hands and only playing them when half the table hasn't already folded I'll be playing 1 in a 100 hands at which point blinds and antes are a bigger enemy.
I'm just looking for some kind of strategy, if everyone says it's just a lottery, that's fine, I can stop playing and do other things with my time, I already buy a euro millions ticket so I'm all good for lotteries.
Sorry if I sound deflated but I play probably 30+ freerolls and low stakes tourneys on 888Poker a day and see the same marked fish doing the same tired rinse and repeat loop and getting rewarded over and over if you are saying this is how 888Poker is and will always be that's fine, I'll leave, they still owe me a cashout from over 10 days ago so hardly reputable.

Quite a few of these donkey calls are from the 10c 10 x $1 tourney ticket tournaments. Words out, throw any two cards at me, they'll stick. Just waiting on my cashout to land and then it's dead to me.
Here's one of your 10c 10x1's A 7 ships into A 10, A 10 calls, heart sinks as realises has the best hand pre flop and there is only one way this ends on 888Poker, at least the fish had the decency to say sorry and not just throw haha after haha. Face it 888Poker algo runs the same regardless of the stakes. Might as well just make every game a heads up coin flip elimination for the skill involved.
If you're wondering how I didn't make money with AK earlier take a look at the board it gives me against the fish that bets and calls every street, literally all I could beat was a bluff.

Literally just watched 3 tourneys where I am stacked destroyed by all in fish with nothing hitting something, simultaneously.

This every time when am all-in with overcard, when I have under, overcard hits and they split pot every time. tournament over 25th place of 557.

Nobody had anything bar me yet they both shipped all-in and both improve when I have the best pre-flop and post flop hand, here you go, worse hand have the turn and the river can go to 2nd best. Best hand gtf out of here, tournament pretty much ended, shove J9suited 4 hands later into big blind after table folded, BB has Q 2, hits a Q on river card just for insult after rainbow board none of my suit flush dead.
Genuinely, I have my account number, I am filing a formal complaint regards the missing payment to resolver and I am getting out of there once I get paid.
I placed 14 in a 1400 person tourney yet here I cannot make a final table against 300 fish, tells me all I need to know.
9 7 off, sat out best fill that board with 9's and 7's oh wait unlucky_dog has a pocket pair best toss the Ace a lifeline too. Every tournament where I haven't been donked by an all in 4 5 in the first few hands I have been in the top 5% of finishers and beaten by joke run outs. Cash me out already 888Poker this kind of continual reward for the worse hand cannot reflect well. I watched the other sat out player double up twice in a row too, when I'm blinded all-in it's death 1st hand. Unless I'm in the BB in which case it sometimes likes to let me win just enough to get blinded out in the SB next hand.
I could teach the Jamaican bobsleigh team about cool runnings...
Any 2 repeat any two throw em all-in we're off to the races.
And to prove the algo is off, I make the wrong call and boom river the 💩 out of everyone.

Another elimination, Ace Rag against my KQ, I don't get it, every hand someone is throwing ace rag all in and winning, I play AA AK AQ AJ and get trousered, I play my Ace Rag, nothing.
