leaking the cardmates password
hi someone from this community keeps leaking the password so that people who arent part of this community get to play. i was wondering if you could give us the password 10-20 mins b4 the tournament starts to try and stop this from happening again thanks for your time

i have attached a picture of it from a well known freeroll password site where someone is leaking it too
Yeah i noticed in the password protected games that they're was always at least double the number of players in the community games than there was people who had requested the password, the post would say ask for pw and we would get it in a direct message but only 50 ish replies to the post and over 100 in the games means someone's been leaking the passwords from the start, If it could be setup same was as the GG community game would be safest way issuing tickets to the ones eligible to play.
Hey mate, yeah that was kinda expected tbh 🙂 Password freerolls always end up like this.
The idea’s solid, but… the password’s gonna get leaked anyway, even if we drop it like 10 minutes before kickoff. Sending it out in DMs won’t really fix it either. And yeah, 888 and Party didn’t wanna do ticket-only registration.
We’ll have a think and see what we can come up with. Tbf, from the start we weren’t really planning these as “Cardmates.co.uk community-only” freerolls - more like a way to get the site out there across different poker rooms.
It is interesting isnt it? the GG ones have been the fewest so far for sure. 888 on the other hand...
