Mystery Bounty Royale Bankroll Building

Hey guys jumping in with my first blog post here just wanted to ask do many guys here play the mystery bounty royale sit and gos on GG Poker, ive found they can be good for building bankroll and was half thinking of trying to devise a strat to work up the stakes. Obv im aware its an extremley high variance format with mystery bountys but they seem extremley soft and the possibility of winning a 10x bounty is usually never far away if you can hunt well and can help greatly. Just wanted to see has anyone ever tried going full time with this on there grinds? Tournaments in GG lately have been following a similar pattern of like 3 or 4xing my starting stack only to get a huge cooler against me and has made me want to try different formats

I usually hit the Mystery Bounty tables when I dont want to spend hours grinding away. I set a target, Start with the 1$ bounty. If i lose I quit. If I win anything, I move up one stage to the 3$ bounty and so on. Ive managed to play the 25$ with my biggest take away being 200$++ This was a while back though. Since then ive not made it past the 10$ table :(. With this strategy, I am only losing 1$ a day.. at least thats the way i make myself feel better.

I have won quite a few 10$ bounties on the 1$ table, One 30$ bounty on the 3$ table.. SO its out there, just need to hope its your turn some time.

Hi Paul, I don’t think the mystery bounty royales are a way to build a bankroll in my experience.

But I do enjoy playing them, and I get what you’re saying with the Tournaments. I went through a similar phase of grinding tournaments for hours only to get ko’d with quality hands

It is frustrating, the best advice I have is those hands close to the ITM try not to commit all your chips.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but it has happened to me so many times.

I wish I could say I’ve followed my own advice, but that’s why I’m skint 🤣♥️♣️♦️♠️GL
