Out of practice, not out of the Game

I haven't played poker for about three years, maybe even longer. I used to play quite regularly - not professionally, but pretty well for an amateur. Life became very busy, work took up all my time, and other things became a priority. Poker simply took a back seat.

Then last month, my friend called me out of the blue. He said he was playing again and thought I should give it another go. To be honest, I wasn't thrilled at first - I felt like I'd lost a lot of my skills, probably forgotten half the strategies I knew. But he kept insisting...

And here I am, with cards in my hands and surrounded by people who are simply enjoying the game. Yesterday, I played my first few hands and, yes, I'm definitely out of shape, but it was nice to be back at the table.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello. I'm looking forward to getting fully involved in the game and maybe sharing a couple of hands as I go along.
