POKER BLOG CHALLENGE THINGY.
Ok, here's the thing....poker is much easier than 99% of people make out. It just is, it requires nothing more than a level of discipline above what the majority of people seem to be able to maintain. Id suggest pretty much every failed challenge in this thread is due to people losing their own discipline when a few buy ins down and promptly losing their mind and blowing the remainder of their bankroll. Its admittedly more difficult than years ago but as a general rule its still easier than we all pretend when we talk about solvers and GTO and all that. To evidence this fact ive decided to start again, stuck 750 dollars into a new account and within 90 days ill 10x that so 7500. Ill start at 30 buy ins so 25nl, theres a chance ill get bored so this may fluctuate but 30 buy ins is the aim. I am also v well aware i am in very real danger of looking a right dickhead here if this goes to **** lol. Wish me luck, ill update a few times a week.

Awww this looked like it could be a fun read, was ready to grab some popcorn, but no updates. Of course there is a lot of truth in what has been said. Discipline is king, if I could refrain from making it my personal goal to kill every fish, I'm pretty sure my bad beat count would go down. I do think the software is geared towards creating that sense of panic too, to encourage bad decisions and re-buys with revenge in mind. GGPoker is a lot better for the time bank cards but the time bank itself is a bit short imho, and the accelerating beeps as you are trying to count back how this person that just shoved played this spot the last two rounds. Equally though the single time bank card(not worked out how often it's restated)on 888Poker feels a bit light, like you only get into one spot every 50 hands or whatever?
I get that they need to keep stuff shorter now because of RTA and solvers, maybe there is a gap in the market for a live style online room. Cameras mandatory, screens shared with central secure server to confirm not tabbing out to solvers or engines etc. I think it's doable, I have done some online professional qualifications that could detect and flag if you tried to tab out to search an answer etc.
