Poker has a way of staying with you

You ever notice how certain sessions follow you around for the rest of the day?

Not even because of the result.

Sometimes you lose and forget it instantly. Other times you win, but one weird hand keeps replaying in your head while you’re making coffee or trying to sleep.

Like your brain hasn’t fully left the table yet.

I had one like that recently. Nothing huge happened, but there were a couple of spots where I still can’t decide if I loved my decisions or completely butchered them.

Poker’s strange like that. The chips disappear from the screen, but the conversations with yourself keep going for hours after.
