Really struggling to go deep

I'm finding it very difficult to go deep on games with ggpoker.

I can win plenty , sit and gos , mystery bountys.  Cash games are great on gg.

But tournaments I really struggle.  I don't have this issue on any other site.  Even 888 I go deep most games.  Ggpoker I seem to get my marching orders so often.  It's got to a point where perhaps is a psychological issue.

I start thinking I'm going to go out early. Maybe his has set me in a bad space from the beginning. I try tight, I get caught. I try aggressive I get caught. I just sit and play the cards and cards that should be winners get busted against river runs or river trips.  Ahhhh. I love ggpoker site, the table layout , how smooth game play is on mobile.

I just can't run deep. I don't know what I am doing wrong.  I've never doubted my ability. But I get shown up like I've just started playing on gg. Why/how

I might live stream my next tournament. If anyone would be interested in watching and giving me some tips.  I would be grateful

Why not enter these tournaments late

Maybe it might end up different

Late reg is only an option if doesn't force you in as a short stack, in the 6/4/4/4 minute level tourneys where you only start with 25 or 50 BB joining at end of late reg seats you with 0.8-1.2BB desperation shove range already.

Personally I would download the free trial of poker tracker 4 and export your hand history over the last few weeks to it. It splits cash and tournament stats so you should be able to analyze your EV vs Actual chart for just the tournaments. If you are tracking below EV then you are running bad effectively. If your EV is not positive then yes you need to look at your plays. Positive EV reflects getting your chips in at the right time with the right equity.

I'd love to see the EV chart of the donkeys that make final tables with their 60% VPIP... EV -1.2m actual +2.4m.

Wild ride man, don't doubt yourself (unless you know you are making loose calls, limping along when you should be raising etc in which case tighten up man ;) ) until you have studied the data. If you find PT4 a bit daunting then as a minimum take a few tournament summary files and drop them on a variant of claude optimised for poker (there are a few of them about) and ask it to analyze your play, identify leaks and calculate your tournament EV vs actual.

If it makes you feel better I have 4 weeks solid dog poop variance. EV is over 1.3million now, actual is down to 60,000.

Here ya go mate this will cheer you up, lowest VPIP at the table as usual, play like a fortress, shove the one hand I see and this is what calls and what happens....

another -2k in the EV variance....

Mister peek also flashed an 8 so that was a two outer they hit and held against broadway overcards. Variance.

Also keep an eye on mister peek if anyone knows them, think they must be on the same run as me but tilting hard AF. They literally spent the entire tournament throwing bad beat emojis one after the other, poor soul, ten minutes straight firing it off.

Poker can mess with your head. Sometimes it's best to just give it a break

Honestly, the mental side of poker can be just as challenging as the game itself. Streaming your tournament sounds like a great idea too.
