Shared ownership across multiple sites
Hi everyone.
It's been a while since I have had chance to post. Life damn it.
So little bit of a rant more than anything.
I noticed a post today complaining about coral coins rewards being raised. I took a look on my account and holy feck they really have .
You used to be able to get say 3 free spins for 300, 5 for 500 coins. £5 free cash for 5000, £10 free cash for 10000 coins.
This was a great little incentive to keep going on he site. Ladbrokes similar but you have arcade where you can use your coins or select games and possibly win more coins which you can change up for spins or cash etc.
Well coral have had some amazing idea. Let's charge x1000% more coins for each reward.
So now 3 spins 3000, 5 spins 5000. 5 cash 50,000 . 10 cash 100,000 coins.
Like wow.......also they seemed to have dropped the rewards out the grabber. Use to be able to get 100 drops here and there. Alot of 50s etc. now it's been 5 coins collected.
So they have hugely raised the rewards cost whilst dropping the possible reward drops. I think that's nuts.
And yes ....people will say but it's stuff for free. And yes it is. But why such a dramatic increase. I do know these sites especially brick and mortar are losing money. (I think it's more a case of not making as much as opposed to actually losing money) And are no where near as much a money machine as they were for years. But this jump is a little crazy.
This got me thinking about something else that I am literally fuming about.
Poker.........so I can not enter a tourney on coral, Ladbrokes or party poker at the same time. It states my account is too similar to another that's already entered.
But hang the feck on.......I'm paying money into 3 different accounts. As far as I'm concerned 3 DIFFERENT poker sites. So why am I being blocked from entering when I am paying my way. And I opened these seperate accounts on these different sites.
So does this also mean for instance their slot machines are also interlinked.
If I get a big bonus game on one site with a big win. Will this same game then screw me over on the other sites because I've taken a win (I never touch a slot if it's payed out......I know from experience regardless what any site may say) it will just rinse your money and you won't win decent on it again anytime soon. That's been my experience.
But does that follow across to the other sites. I don't know. But if it's going like the poker sites it would make sense.
From what I can understand these 3 running the same tournaments. So players who play on coral will show up in tournaments people are playing on Ladbrokes. But this was never shown or explained as far as I know when I signed up.
To me it's like me playing a tourney on 888 and registering one on ggpoker and getting told I can't because I've signed up to A TOURNAMENT on another site.
Seems mad this can be allowed. It must be against some form of consumer law. I get sister sites etc but for actual poker these sites should be site specific for poker. Not tournaments incorporating players from all three sites. WTF is going on.
Am I stupid for thinking this isn't ok. Maybe I'm annoyed for no reason. But it really has peed me off.
I feel your pain on the Entain network (Coral/Lads/Party)—it’s a total head-scratcher when you realize they share the same player pool but won’t let you multi-tabling across their 'different' skins. 🤯
That 1000% jump in reward costs is absolute robbery, too; feels like they’re trying to phase out the casual grinders entirely.
Do you think they'll eventually just merge everything into one giant app, or do they like the illusion of 'separate' sites too much?
