The $1k micro bounty tonight - finally lady luck visits me
Aiming for a two for one here Harry, this is probably my luckiest run in the $1k bounty, having finally secured a money place $1.95 and getting oh so close to a couple of bounties (meta hands too, pocket pair 9's lost to overcards, then overcards A Qo lost to 4's in the same orbit). I tend to get dumped out of these usually with a premium pair 10's or better against the fish that calls every time they get an ace. Am i the only person that folds virtually all A4 off and below?
I'm also after a memorable gaming experience, as on my final table, the 60%+ VPIP fish dumped someone out with the usual stinker of a bad beat and netted the $100 bounty, not sure I'll see that again. Although secretly I think it pleased me more to see the dude that bust me out with pocket 4's only pick up a 47c bounty for my head 😇
I should probably add as a fully free player, I won a ticket to any step 3 $1 tournament in todays $100 freeroll which is how I ended up in the bounty. Interestingly even though you all get same ticket (I assume?) the tournament carried on after down to 100. I bust out around 20th out of a 1000+ this was with an all in shove for a cool 216k as short stack lol. They flop middle pair, no ace from space, no runner runner flush or straight, shame as it's always nice to see your opponent hit their top card on the river and it complete your draw but hey ho.
AI rubbed my ego after, the action had folded to me on the button, I had a suited ace and <5BB, it was a mandatory shove apparently 🤣 I flopped nut flush and straight draw and had live over card too.
Moi_ it’s a start! Waiting for the big ones, there on the way. I’m rooting for you! 👊🤞
How's this for a bad beat from the usual suspect Brazilian. Went all in 10 hands in a row with any 2 and lucked out every time.Rhis hand I am 1hand away from big blind so call this time with A4 against his KK. Other player has a King so he rivers me with a one outer the only possible card King of clubs and gets the $30 bounty. Watch out for him rm14 from Brazil and his friends never lose a hand and play ever tourney.
