The 888 Club System – Does It Really Reward Loyalty?

After around 10 years playing on 888poker, I’ve worked my way up to level 310 in the 888 Club, and I’ve got to be honest… I still don’t fully understand how some of it works.

Now don’t get me wrong—there are definitely positives.

Every month we get the $20k freeroll, which is great value and something I always look forward to. It gives everyone a decent shot at a score without putting money up, and you can’t really complain about that.

But then there’s the weekly stuff…

The $109 Ticket Freeroll Mystery

Seemingly every week there’s an exclusive freeroll with a $109 ticket, and this is where things start to get confusing.

Some weeks I get a ticket.

Some weeks I don’t.

And there’s no clear reason why.

At level 310, you’d think it would be straightforward:

Either it’s level-based

Or it’s not

But it feels like it’s something in between—maybe challenges, maybe how much you’ve played that week, or maybe just random promotions. The problem is, there’s no transparency, and that makes it frustrating.

Are the Level Freerolls Too Low?

Another thing that doesn’t quite sit right with me is the level structure for freerolls.

You’ve got things like:

Level 60+

Level 80+

But realistically… that’s not exactly hard to reach anymore.

Which means:

Massive fields

Lower chances of cashing

Less reward for long-term players

In my opinion, they should be doing something like:

Level 100 freerolls

Level 200 freerolls

Level 300+ for the proper grinders

Because right now, someone who’s just moved past level 80 is getting access to pretty much the same stuff as someone who’s been grinding for years.

Does Loyalty Really Pay?

That’s the big question.

I’ve put a lot of time into 888poker over the years, and while the rewards are decent, it doesn’t always feel like higher levels actually mean much beyond a certain point.

You’d expect:

Better exclusivity

Clearer rewards

More separation between casual players and regular grinders

But instead, it all feels a bit… blurred.

Final Thoughts

Don’t get me wrong—there’s still plenty of value in the system, especially with the monthly freerolls and regular promos.

But:

The $109 ticket system needs more clarity

The level structure needs updating

And higher-level players should feel properly rewarded

Over to You

I’d be interested to hear from others playing on 888poker…

What level are you in the 888 Club?

Do you get the $109 tickets regularly?

Or are you just as confused as I am?

I dont know how much to post publicly here or how much to just engage you in a private conversation with you about it. Im a lowly level 215 and ive never got  a ticket to the elite monthly freeroll. The promotions are seemingly randome / ive spoken to 888 and they admit the promotions are broken - in particular the early bird scheme - Its a shame because the games on 888 are generally soft  . If i could id take your post and put it in the cardschat forums and tag the 888rep to see what they have to say. Probably not much more of an explanation than this.... 888 promotions are not to be trusted
