The "Fold" regret
What hurts more folding a terrible pre-flop hand only to see your exact cards hit a full house on the flop,or losing a massive pot on a bad river card ?

Hi, welcome to the cardmates family;)
Neither hurt if you practice the art of playing well and playing solid. Pain is a mental concept. Breath. if you're still alive you are good to go again! Feel the pain , learn from it and dish out a bit of your own ! Ps why dont you play a few trash hands in a certain way that allows you to win the pot with no showdown? That means playing aggressive with weak holdings. Remember when you bet you can give yourself 2 ways to win the pot. At showdown or by them folding. Good luck at the tables and keep posting Mate!
Ignore the cards on the flop.. You 'would have hit something' once every 10 cards you fold. Which means you would have lost the other 9 times. But that one call with crap hands might win you a big pot since no one expects a call with crap hands.. Thats the story on most low stakes tables.
Obviously, folding a terrible pre-flop hand is the correct call. You can’t feel bad about making the correct choice. I think that would be part of your study to recognise those positions and hands
would it of been a small risk to call pre-flop
could you have played the position better
loosing to a bad river, Could you have bet bigger pre to get them off the pot or would of more caution of been the better play
These are the elements that we are all striving to perfect and constantly evolving GL♥️♣️♦️♠️🃏
