The Hope for Glory or Goodbye!

I have come to a realisation that today is the day.I have been playing poker for two years now and I have learned a lot about the game and the art that it is. But my issue is financial, I do not have the luxury of having much in the way of funds. I have tried to build a bankroll and failed miserably,

I have my one shot at building something today in the $109 Mystery Bounty Main Event.

If I fail today,I have decided that I need to step away from poker altogether as my family have become distant and financially we are suffering so the money I use for poker can be better spent elsewhere.

It will be tough to do, as poker has played a big part in my life for the past two years but the right one for my family and my marriage!

If this is the case and you don’t here from me again.I would just like to say I wish I found Cardmates a long time ago and in the short time I have been part of this community it’s been a great experience.

Peace out Cardmates!♥️♣️♦️♠️🃏💙👊

Thanks dailyangle it didn’t work out at the tables. When the RNG gives you absolutely nothing, I played for 2 hours won 3 hands. all my pocket pairs got beat all my premium hands got beat by the cards dealt. I was given no opportunity to advance in the game. So all my questions were answered by the RNG and the opportunity that you have no control over!

Tough session, happens to everyone in MTTs. But blaming it fully on RNG is a dangerous trap.. variance is real, but so is edge over time. Sounds like you made a bigger, more important decision today anyway. Respect for putting real life first. And I’d be glad to keep reading your blogs if you decide to stick around 👊

I will stick around, not sure I will have much to blog about. I guess only time will tell. I look forward to sharing in other Cardmates posts and wins hopefully 💙👊

Great to hear you’re staying 💙 Would be awesome if you shared your story - how you got into poker, your ups and downs, lessons learned. Even simple session stories or interesting spots can turn into really engaging blogs.

Let the poker take a back seat - Im just realising i need to do something similar and really become disciplined over what im spending my time on - the resource that none of us can get back or replenish. Family should always be #1 - Hope to hear about how happy you are not playing poker!
