The Title Race Tightens: Can Palace Stop the City Machine?

Tomorrow (Wednesday) night, the spotlight shifts to the Etihad. After Arsenal narrowly beat West Ham 1-0 on Sunday (thanks to a very controversial late VAR call), the Gunners are currently 5 points clear at the top.

Manchester City vs. Crystal Palace is now a "must-win" for Pep. If City wins, they cut that gap to 2 points with two games to go.

The Stats

City’s Home Form: They are on a ridiculous 36-game unbeaten run at home on Wednesdays. They don’t just win mid-week; they dominate.

The "Doku" Danger: Jeremy Doku is in "Aura" mode right now—3 goals in his last 2 games.

Palace Motivation: The Eagles just qualified for the Europa Conference League final. Word is Oliver Glasner might rest a few key names to keep them fresh for the trophy hunt.

My Betting Lean

I’m looking at City to Win & Over 2.5 Goals (currently 1.66). Erling Haaland bagged two in the reverse fixture, and I expect him to find the net again tomorrow.

Is there any chance Palace pulls off a miracle, or is the title race going down to the final Sunday? Let me know your score predictions below!

I can see City winning comfortably if Palace rotate a few players. Hard to bet against them at the Etihad, especially in a title race. I’ll go 3-1 City - but with football lately, nothing would surprise me anymore 😅
