Ai, Poker and the double standards (a comedy special)

Hello Cardmates, 

The poker community is a funny place.

You’ve got players running sims on GTO Wizard for six hours straight, nodding like they’ve unlocked the meaning of life….….

 …but the second you mention that Ai helped me write a blog post:

• Disgusting 
• mindless 
• no thought whatsoever 
• Lazy

Oh, now we care about integrity?

So, let me get this straight 

using a PioSolver to calculate the exact frequency you should c-bet on a paired board with a back door flush draw and a gut shot…….

=Hard work, Respect, Elite mindset.

Using Ai to help you write a meaningful and effective blog…….

=Shame, Fraud, Public execution 

This disparity doesn’t make sense 🤔

And it doesn’t stop there.

You ever read a poker book?

You know- the ones with the poker pro on the front looking all serious, arms folded, wearing a hoodie as though he’s about to 4-bet your life decisions?

Do you honestly think that they sat there, cuppa in hand typing 300 pages themselves?

Or is it more likely that a writer was involved going;

“Can you maybe explain that hand without saying’I just felt it, bro’?”

And everyone is fine with that.

No one is kicking down doors like;

“WHO WROTE THIS CHAPTER?! STONE HIM!!!!! (Film ref. Comment if you know which one)CLASSIC 🤣

But introduce Ai into the mix and suddenly it’s CSI; Poker forums.

“Enhance the sentence structure.”

”Zoom in on that paragraph.”

Here’s the real issue :

Poker players are happy to need the tools to make them play better……

They just don’t condone using similar tools to make others people sound smarter!

But if it’s your ideas, your results, your stories- just presented better?

That’s not cheating.

That’s called not making your readers suffer.

You’re the one clicking buttons.

You’re the one telling the story. 

The reason why I decided to write this blog is because of my first blog about the 888 Ambassadors and stream team after which the initial reaction was fantastic. But then suddenly everyone seemed to go silent towards me as though I had wronged everyone in some way!
