Closing out tournaments & ICM
After a decent score the other day i returned to do a bit of a grind on 888 and managed to secure a 3rd place for a tidy score.
It was a shame because the first hand of 3 handed after the smaller stack than me busted i had about 11 bigs and jammed QQ only to run into villains KK and no help from the dealer.
I was still pleased with my play and the run good i received earlier in the tourney.
On to the next one - hopefully another CM freeroll scrore

Ouch, QQ into KK is the ultimate 3-handed nightmare, but a 3rd place finish is still a massive result! 🥉
With 11 bigs, you really can't ever fold those ladies, so that's just a classic 'standard' exit.
Do you find the 888 endgame fields tighter than the CM freerolls, or was that just a particularly unlucky clash?
