Cobsidering Omaha

Getting too many bad beats on the river recently. Am considering trying a bit of Omaha instead of holdem. Is there less chance of major variance. Looking for advice

I don’t think so smudge, if anything I would say it’s worse!

It’s ok if you land a few big hands, but you have to be prepared to play a lot less big hands to get anywhere.

Normally that’s what catches you out playing omaha

Equities run closer with 4 cards pre flop so be prepared for more variance, not less. I do find the player heuristics of how people react to betting is easier to predict than hold em though.
