From $10 to the moon strategy assistance
Afternoon all,
I am quite reserved in gambling and have a $10 weekly limit to play poker on GG.
I managed to land a tourney a while back and cashed $500 which covers me for the year but over the last few months I’ve just been depositing and losing within a few hours
I tend to play the spin and go games $1 or $3 but on a bit of a bad streak.
any suggestions on how to use the $10?

Always seem to struggle when reaching top 20 or final tables of MTT. I tend to play tight, get smashed by the blinds and end up going All in with k10/...

My first suggestion is to stay away from high variance games like spins until you grow a bigger roll. Spins will eat up your $10 real quick. The $1 level only gives you 10 bullets. That is not many bullets for such a high variance game. If you keep doing such actions its likely you will need to keep depositing. Sure some luck might shine on you at some point but in the long run such actions are too high variance.
My next suggestion would be to use that $10 to complete the weekly freeroll promotion. As soon as you deposit you receive 3 daily freeroll tickets. That is three shots at getting into the 100K weekly freeroll. Use your $10 deposit as leverage to earn more daily freeroll tickets. You can do this by visiting the Rush section and playing the 0.01/0.02 tables. Your goal should be to sit tight and play the 100 hands required for earning said ticket. Once your 100 hands has completed stop playing. Rinse and repeat as many times as possible for as many consecutive days as possible.
As per your previous $500 cashout - you have already proven you can cash in tournaments now its time to do it again. With any luck you will also increase your $10 balance during your daily 100 hand threshold at 0.01/0.02 tables. Sit tight, the goal is to complete the 100 hands not get lucky. Breaking even is +EV. If you find success in the weekly 100K freeroll and your roll increases you can aim for the 1000 hands required for a ticket that allows you to bypass the daily freeroll and jump right into the 100K weekly freeroll. Eventually you will have a decent cash in that weekly 100K freeroll and can adjust your goals with your newly attained funds. Good luck regardless of what you decide.
