I think that the way you feel is super common but is also a common misconception amongst generally new or inexperienced poker players.

The RNG stands for RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR a statistical computer programme that determines the outcomes of the cards-  abit like a shuffle and a deal in real life. WE then CHOOSE how to play the cards we are dealt given the situation - the problem is we are always playing against other players that are also CHOOSING their actions. When we clash and cards have to be shown down we are relying on the outcomes of the community cards to hopefully be the player with all the equity and win the hand. This is often the case in later stages of MTTS where we have to be all in and get called such as your pocket 6s and we are always or nearly always going to be a slight favourite in a flip . You were very unfortunate against K5 so just remember the rng isnt there to reward you or good play and should not be blamed in any way. If you can - try and understand how you can use the RNG to your advantage. Some people use a rng to determine if they should call/fold/ raise in a hand. Hoping you can find the luck you need Rono!
