Pokers Weekend Strategy !

I was wondering Cardmates, how does everyone go about finding their Weekend strategy when planning and choosing which tournaments to enter and why ?

I think first of all it’s got to be budget! 

Do you target a pacific site or multiple sites?

Are there pacific types of tournaments you’re aiming at ?

Do you look for the number of entries in the game?

Do you consider the types of players entered into that tournament? ie; pros, streamers, regs etc.

Besides all of these questions, I found playing low budget tournaments (micro) would give an insight to where I was in alignment with the RNG for that particular weekend. I think you get a feeling in those first couple of tournaments to how your weekend is going to play out!

Yes, this doesn’t mean we give up. I think it’s fair to say that we all probably keep chasing if it doesn’t start good. But I think if we share this information as a community we could all benefit and improve our game.

Admittedly I as a novice player without a great deal of experience or knowledge about the game have improved from sitting in with streamer on twitch and trying to gain something from there experience and knowledge!

Would this be a good way for us to improve and strategise our planning process as a group putting all our processes into blogs, surely the outcome can only be a positive one for us all.
