I ran into a monster (Quads vs Full House)
Full House vs. Quads
This tournament was a Phase 2 for a $109 ticket on party poker. The third phase being the final. I flop top trips and my opponent flopped bottom trips. This should be easy work right? Think again; turn comes the case three >>> Boom Quads >>>. When the turn hit my opponent bet 4200 into a 58000 pot. I paused for a second thinking to myself "That's scared money if I ever seen such a thing or quads.". I made the final regardless. I won a ticket in this very series last week. Hopefully history repeats itself. I'm short stacked this time around with just 300K in chips compared to the average stack that will end up being somewhere around 800K. But that's ok. As the saying goes, "A chip and a chair".

That’s rough mate ;/ trips into quads is just pure bad luck
Yeah, it’s painful when you get sucked out on with a one-out, but that’s poker. I’ve won like that myself a few times — once with quads sixes vs queens, and also quads sevens against jacks.
