Oh lordy the weekend players are here
Down to 8bb's, mandatory shove. Cards turn pre flop feel like I woke up on Christmas morning to the gift I wanted, how much equity, wtah air biscuits are they calling off over half their stack with. But then I remember this is 888Joker, my 1.4m EV is up against a realised actual of -30k a 1.43m delta so of course the worst hand won, not the best, not the 2nd best, but the worst, standard.

The “worst hand wins” part is painfully familiar. You can make the right decision, have the equity, do everything right… and poker still finds a way to humble you. That 1.43m EV delta is absolutely brutal. At that point you just have to laugh and reload.
You hit the nail right on the head there. Given it's all freeroll, as long as I made the right choice, the brutality just washes on over me. If that was cash I'd clearly not be a happy bunny at all 🐰🐇
That’s the kind of hand where you already spend the chips in your head before the cards even hit. 8BB, you’re getting it in with a smile, then somehow the absolute worst hand finds a way to survive. Poker really has a talent for making the mathematically right play feel personally offensive.
