Pressure makes it clear


Noticed something recently.

Late stages, big spots - everything actually gets simpler.

Early in tournaments there’s more noise. More spots, more options, more room to mess around. You can afford to experiment a bit.

But when it gets deep, stacks matter, ICM kicks in - suddenly decisions feel clearer. Less ego, less fancy stuff. Just ranges, pressure, execution.

You either understand the spot or you don’t.

No hiding there.

That’s probably why I like those stages the most. It’s not about doing something crazy - it’s about doing the right thing, consistently.
