The Hand I Thought I Had Won Until the River.... My Worst Bad Beat 💔

I still remember this hand because sometimes when I think about it, it just felt so unreal. I actually thought I had won the pot already and I know some of you would be able to relate.

I was plaing Poker Cash Game, if I could recall I entered with $25. During gameplay, I was dealth with A♠ A♥. Pocket aces! 

You already know, there's no way I'm gonna fold such a hand. 

One player raised before me, and I decided to reraise. Everyone else folded, and then he called.

The flop came A♦ 9♣ 7♠.

Boom! I had three of a kind, top set, I was feling on top. My opponent checked, and I made a bet. He called. 

At this point, I was thinking, This could be a beautiful pot.

The turn brought 9♦ again. Now the board had a pair of nines, and my opponent checked again. I bet once more, He called.

Smiling at my full-house 

Then came the river.

9♥.

At this point I was worried If my opponent had a 9, it'll be one epic card to be dealth with.

To my surprise he indeed had a 9.

I just stared at the screen for a moment. How do you even react to that? 😂😭

I was devastated for the whole day.
