There is no justice!

Hello Cardmates, as most of you know by now…..

I am a straight up type of person who tries not to be too serious!

But today Cardmates, I would like to share a personal event that is something I want to share to get it off my chest.

I have a nephew Archie, he is a teenager who is in the Cadets and has been waiting to come of age to join the R.A.F . This Gentleman giant of a lad has had such a traumatic upbringing, I would not dare to comment on.

but the point is, I have been saying for a long time……

He just needs to reach the age to take control of his own life and join the R.A.F and he will be flying!

He went the local derby not long ago with my son and watched the match.

The next day, I said to my son “did you and Archie enjoy the game “ he replied “Ye dad, but we kept having to stop walking home, Archie kept feeling tired. He seemed dead tired to be honest?”

A couple of days later…..

we get a phone call to say Archie went the doctors, the doctor sent him to hospital and the hospital sent him to a specialist hospital?

” ARCHIE HAS GOT LEUKEMIA”

He has the most aggressive form

This gentle giant of a Lad, the most placid harmless person you could imagine,

Whose life has been a rollercoaster of trauma, was finally coming to an age to take control of his own destiny, has now been hit with a battle like no other!

That’s all I have to say! 💙💙💙

I had a mate , Levi, back in school who discovered he had cancer in his leg after doing a quite gentle trick, a slappy boardslide, he just fell over with a snapped leg from where the cancer had weakened the bone. He was only 11 or 12 at the time. He recovered and could walk but with a bit of a limp for some years after and then devastatingly he got leukaemia when he was in his early twenties and battled it on and off for some years. My heart goes out to you and Archie. All the best to him and his battle.

He’s in good spirit, spoke with him yesterday. He’s having intense chemotherapy and blood transfusions.

He is going to come and stay with us for a night when he gets out of hospital in two weeks 💙
