What’s the Point of Play It Twice on 888poker?
Does anybody actually see the point in “Play It Twice” on 888poker cash games?
I get that it’s meant to reduce variance, but for me it just takes the edge off the game. You get all-in, big moment, and instead of one result, it’s split into two smaller ones. Even if you win, it doesn’t feel the same.
You’re not gaining any extra value either—it just drags out the outcome without improving it. On top of that, it slows the game down and feels like it removes a bit of the pressure that makes poker what it is.
Personally, I’d rather take the swing and either win it all or lose it. That’s part of the game.
What do you lot think—worth it or pointless?

Honestly it's pointless to me also
Once you call all in, you should be ready for what comes next
I prefer it because you get a chance after the lucky all in any 2 cards players get lucky on the river
